Somalia’s cities are being rebuilt in the aftermath of conflict — places where displacement, resilience, and recovery intersect every day. Nearly half of Somalia’s population now lives in urban areas, and as cities expand, they also absorb the country’s biggest challenges: insecurity, displacement, climate shocks, and governance gaps.
CUSI is redefining how Somali cities recover, plan, and thrive.
